The week was punctuated by 2 key events: a Natual conference on the reproductive health of ruminants and the participation of our Feedia pig teams in the TV programme organised by Pig Progress on sustainability and animal welfare.

Techna Natual’s conference about optimizing ruminants’ reproductive health.
Last week, Techna Natual presented the benefits of METRABOL bolus in cattle reproduction across Europe. Our speakers shared insights into uterine anatomy and histology, highlighting the science behind METRABOL's effectiveness. A German customer shared her experience using METRABOL since 2017, noting a significant reduction in antibiotic use. French trials on 36,000 cows showed impressive results in uterine involution, heat expression, and a decrease in metritis. Additionally, field veterinarian Ferenc Kranjec presented new trial data from Hungary, supporting dairy and beef farms across the region. It was a great opportunity for our team to connect with existing customers and potential prospects, exchanging insights and discussing innovative solutions.
METRABOL bolus helps the uterus to quickly return in a functional status after calving. It is suited to go with the uterine discharge during the post-calving days. METRABOL supports an efficient uterine involution after calving thereby contributing to an earlier coming on heat.

Stress management and welfare in pig farming: the ROBUS ZEN solution to reduce aggressive behavior
Dr Ian Hands, swine key accounts, took part in a conference organized by the Pig Progress media on sustainability and well-being. After presenting the different sources of stress and the harmful consequences for pigs, including an increase in aggressive behavior, Dr Ian Hands introduced the ROBUS ZEN additive solution.
ROBUS ZEN is a solution composed of plant extracts, known for their calming effects on the central nervous system, thus reducing stress and promoting increased performance.. Incorporated into feed, ROBUS ZEN has shown positive effects, with :
- a reduction in aggressive behavior,
- heavier animals over the same fattening period with a lower feed conversion,
- fewer dead or removed pigs.
Stress management in pig farming is a major concern for consumers, farmers and their technical partners.
